Medieval Decorated Gold Bead

CIRCA 12TH-15TH CENTURY A.D.

1/2 in. (0.80 grams, 12 mm).

Of annular form with applied filigree wire to the edges, the body with a wire decoration formed as a continuous band of triangles; beaded collars to the openings.

Provenance

From a late Japanese specialist collector, 1970-2000s.
