Medieval Bronze Manuscript Clasp with Wolf's Head
14TH CENTURY A.D.
1 7/8 in. (25 grams, 48 mm).
Square in plan with hinge knuckles and pin to trailing edge, wolf-head clasp with pierced mouth; octofoil design with secondary piercing.

Acquired on the UK art market in the early 2000s.
