Medieval Bronze Lozenge-Shaped Annular Brooch

1300-1400 A.D.

5/8 in. (2.04 grams, 16 mm).

The rectangular frame pierced at one corner for the pin, the upper face of the frame decorated with bands on small pellets in counter-relief. [No Reserve]

Provenance

Found in Breckland, Norfolk, UK, on 28 February 2024.

Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.NMS-F7EF57.
This lot is accompanied by an illustrated lot declaration signed by the Head of the Antiquities Department, Dr Raffaele D'Amato.
