Modelled in the half-round with draped loin cloth and head to the right; hollow to the reverse. [No Reserve]

In these rings, dated 12th-13th century A.D., the semicircular cross-section link on the front side transitions into an elongated and flattened, elliptical head. The carved decoration on the bezel is very rough, borrowing themes from the myth of the Thracian hero, still diffused in the medieval Balkans. -
