VENICE, 15TH-16TH CENTURY A.D.

11 5/8 in. (23.2 kg total, 30 cm high including stand).

A stylised lion's face and mane carved in relief in stone; likely part of a frieze; mounted on a custom-made display stand.

with Hotel Des Ventes De Monte, Monaco, 14 December 2021, lot 13.
English private collection.
