1 - 2 in. (59 grams total, 27-52 mm).
The majority bearing initials, including a crowned IHC monogram; blackletter 'B'; a possible cross cercelee within a double roundel and pellet border; together with other motifs and initials. [7, No Reserve]

Comprising bells of various shapes and sizes, most retaining their suspension loop and clapper and producing a range of sounds. 1 kg total, 5-13 cm
Acquired 1990s-early 2000s. East Anglian private collection.
Like the bell found in Oxfordshire, these bells are quadrangular with sloping sides to a narrow rounded top, furnished of a hanging ring. While these bells are similar in overall shape to Roman and Middle Saxon examples, a post medieval date is perhaps more likely. -

Found Berkshire, UK, circa 2008 by M. Ruczynski.
A number of similar objects are known from the PAS e.g: LVPL-844BB9, LIN-66994E, LVPL-F93881, YORYM-0E94A7 and KENT-AD3C5C. Many of these are fairly crudely made and variably worn, The smallest heads are probably horse harness, but this one, for weight and dimensions can be the mount for a wooden chariot or from a building, or some instrument linked to the firing activity.
