4 1/4 -11 in. (15.7 kg total, 11-28 cm).
Mainly comprising glazed vessels and fragments including tripod handled pots, tankards, chamber pots, handed bowls, a bowl with polychrome bird motif and a number of stamped pewter tankards and jugs. [18]

Found whilst searching with a metal detector near Yapham, East Yorkshire, UK, in 24th July 2016 by Mr David Brooks. Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.YORYM-9A109A. Declared and disclaimed as Treasure with reference no.2016 T562. Accompanied by a copy of the Report for HM Coroner with reference no.2016 T562. -
Medieval Knight's Bronze 'Dovedale Family' Heraldic Horse Harness Pendant

Being a heater-shield form with remains of integral suspension loop; the device an 'argent cross moline gules' showing cross moline (sometimes described as recercelee when the curled ends of the limbs are exaggerated) on a red enamelled field. 4.5 grams, 29 mm
From the Sullivan family collection, UK; acquired since 2003.
The device is associated with several English families but most prominently with members of the Dovedale family (with various spellings) which appears to have originated in Yorkshire or Cheshire from the 12th century AD. -
