Macedon under Roman Rule AR Tetradrachm. Circa 95-70 BC. Uncertain mint. Aesillas, quaestor.
Head of the deified Alexander III 'the Great', with horn of Ammon over his ear, to right; ⵙ behind neck, MAKEΔONΩN below / AESILLAS Q in two lines, money chest, club, and chair; all within laurel wreath. SNG Copenhagen 1330; HGC 3.1, 1110. Very Fine. Light toning.(16.34gr, 28mm, 12h.).
