Levant & the Near East Zoomorphic Bronze Weight of 18 Shekel. Late Bronze Age, circa 1500-1200 BC. Babylonian standard.
Bronze weight in shape of a duck, with head turned towards the tail and with flat base. Cf. Μünz Zentrum Auktion XLIX, Teil IV, 5001 (hematite). Condition as seen. Very rare weight.(157gr, 59mm, 12h.).
