Levant & the Near East Zoomorphic Bronze Weight of 1 Shekel. Late Bronze Age, circa 1500-1200 BC.
Bronze weight in shape of a sleeping duck, with head turned towards the tail and with flat striated base. Cf. Hendin, Ancient Scale and Weights, 143 (5 Qedet). Condition as seen.(7.73gr, 19mm.).
