Late Roman Terracotta Oil Lamp
CIRCA 5TH-7TH CENTURY A.D.
3 1/8 in. (54.4 grams, 80 mm).
Piriform body with raised ridges and linear decoration on the shoulder, conical handle at the rear, branch motif below the nozzle and a pellet at the centre of the base. [No Reserve]

From the private collection of Mr Brian Edwards, New Malden, Surrey, UK, formed from the late 1970s-early 1980s; thence by descent.
