LOWER PALAEOLITHIC PERIOD, CIRCA 500,000-350,000 B.P.
5 1/8 in. (339 grams total including stand, stone: 13.1 cm).
With light cream and blue silky patina; tip re-sharpened in antiquity to prolong use; mounted on a custom-made display stand.
