LARGE STONE AGE FRENCH FLINT AXE HEAD
NEOLITHIC PERIOD, CIRCA 6000 B.P.
8 1/4 in. (436 grams, 21 cm).

Lentoid in section with broad square butt and long rounded cutting edge; unpolished; old find spot label 'Rocourt Saint Martin'. [No Reserve]

Found east of Paris, France.
From an old Paris collection.
Acquired on the European art market.
From the private collection of an East Anglian, UK, specialist collector.
This lot is accompanied by an illustrated lot declaration signed by the Head of the Antiquities Department, Dr Raffaele D’Amato.
