Large Medieval Silver Decorated Ring with Inscription

15TH-16TH CENTURY A.D.

1 in. (9.16 grams, 24.61 mm overall, 18.65 mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q 1/2, USA 8 1/4, Europe 18.12, Japan 17)).

With broad lentoid-section shoulders, stepped bezel, central vesica and retrograde 'BHAE' legend.

    It is though that such tokens were worn by the spectators at tournaments. The hatching may have been intended as keying for paint.
