Large Egyptian Revival Painted Stone Plaque
20TH CENTURY A.D.
21 1/2 in. (34 kg total, 54 cm).
A substantial decorative designer frieze panel with high-relief figure of Osiris seated in profile wearing the atef crown, segmentee collar and short cape, pleated kilt; in his hands the symbolic crook and flail; seated on a rectangular throne with banded detailing; hieroglyphs in the field; after the antique. [No Reserve]
