Large Danish Stone Age Neolithic Thin Butted Axe
DOLMAN PERIOD, 3700-3300 B.C.
7 1/8 in. (805 grams, 18 cm).
A finely knapped and polished axe with convex cutting edge and square sides in a grey chert; evidence of use as a 'strike-a-light' to the butt; old collector label '162' to face.

Acquired 1980s.
French private collection before 2020.
