LARGE ANGLO-SAXON ENAMELLED HANGING BOWL MOUNT PAIR
6TH CENTURY AD
3" (118 grams total, 75mm).

A matched pair of bronze disc appliqués, each a plaque with trilinear border surrounding a pattern of La Tène whirls and tendrils reserved against a red enamel field. [2]

PROVENANCE:
Found Leicestershire, UK, 2016 attached to the remains of a large sheet bronze bowl; accompanied by a copy of an Art Loss Register certificate.
