Large Amlash Spouted Vessel
CIRCA 13TH-12TH CENTURY B.C.
12 5/8 in. (2.3 kg, 32 cm high).
A large spouted vessel with carinated body, trumpet-style neck and rim, curved round-section spout, strap handle with thumb-pad and circumferential bands and waves to the neck. [No Reserve]

Damage to the centre; seemingly preserves the outer edges of a document written up to the edges of the sheet, was folded over and sealed. The letter comprised nine lines of text, of which significant proportions of the upper and lower three remain, while the middle three are less-well preserved. Beyond the damaged area would once have been a flap. -
