Head of Philip V of Macedon to right, wearing diademed royal Macedonian helmet with goat horns; Roma monogram to upper left, Φ beneath chin / Equestrian statue to right on tablet inscribed L•PHILIPPVS, holding laurel branch; flower beneath horse, mark of value in exergue. Crawford 293/1; BMCRR Italy 532; Sydenham 551; RSC Marcia 12. Good Very Fine. Well-centred with a collectible deep old cabinet iridescent toning. Slight corrosion on reverse.(3.91gr, 19mm, 9h.).
