Kings of Parthia, Phraates IV AR Tetradrachm. Circa 38/7-2 BC. Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Uncertain date.
Diademed and draped bust to left / BAΣIΛEΩC BAΣIΛEΩN APΣAKOY EYEPΓETOY ΔIKAIOY EΠIΦANOYΣ ΦIΛEΛΛHNOΣ, Phraates seated to right on throne, Athena standing to left before him, presenting diadem and holding spear; [date in exergue]. Cf. Sellwood 52; cf. Sunrise 391; cf. Shore 274. Very Fine. Small area of delamination and graffiti on obverse.(10.48gr, 27mm, 12h.).
