A cast ewer with bulbous segmented body, straight base, tubular neck with beast-head spout, D-section strap handle with tall knopped thumb-pad; bands of silver-inlaid calligraphic text and scrolled foliage to the shoulder and vertical ribs.

Property of an Essex collector; acquired on the UK market, 1980s-1990s.
