Judaean Gold Amulet Case with Menorah

4TH CENTURY A.D.

3/4 in. (3.74 grams, 19 mm).

Hollow-formed sheet-gold pendant amulet with suspension loops to the upper edge, collared granules to the lower edge and each end, granulated menorah motif to the obverse.

Provenance

From and important collection of a London, UK, gentleman, 1990s.

This lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by search certificate number no.13142-246959.
