Islands off Caria. Rhodos, Rhodes AR Hemidrachm. Circa 170-150 BC. ΑΡΤΕΜΩΝ (Artemon, magistrate). Plinthophoric standard.
Radiate head of Helios facing slightly to right / ΑΡΤΕΜΩΝ, rose with bud to right; P-O flanking, club to left; all within incuse square. Jenkins, Rhodian 44; HN Online 103; HGC 6, 1462. Near Extremely Fine. Iridescent toning.(1.38gr, 13mm, 12h.).
