Islamic Polyhedral AE Weight of 20 Dirhams or 2 Uqiya. Circa 10th-13th century AD.
A flattened sphere doubly truncated in form; punched on the top and bottom with a large bird's eye pattern; the main body of the weight decorated with five rows of bird's eyes. CPAI 1, 127 (Southern Anatolia). Condition as seen.(57.37gr, 25mm x 19mm.).
