Iron Age Celtic Horse and Rider Statuette
1ST CENTURY B.C.-2ND CENTURY A.D.
1 5/8 - 1 7/8 in. (67 grams total, 42-48 mm).
A bronze horse and rider statuette, each figure modelled separately, the horse modelled with right leg held aloft and simple anatomical and collar detailing; rider modelled in a seated position with legs spread, the left hand held in front of the body, the right held above the head; with a rectangular base with three remaining stub legs.
