Irish Medieval Hammered Coins - Edward IV - Waterford - Long Cross Groat

1473-1478 AD, third issue, light coinage. Obv: facing bust with G on breast within tressure with fleurs to points and EDWARDVS DEI GRA DNS HYBERN legend and 'rose' initial mark. Rev: pattee long cross and triple pellets with saltire to first and third quadrants dividing POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE MEVM and CIVITAS WATERFOR for Waterford mint. Near as struck, slightly clipped flan. Saltires in reverse quadrants not listed in standard references; unrecorded?(1.88 grams.).
