5 in. (346 grams, 12.6 cm wide).

With narrow basal ring, carination below the sidewall, painted polychrome frieze of a zebu and lion in profile. [No Reserve]

David Gold amassed a sizable collection of Indus Valley pottery, both vessels and figurative during his retirement, a plaque to David and his brother was recently unveiled by Westminster Council above 43 Carnaby Street, commemorating their business that made Carnaby Street synonymous with fashion in the 1960s.
