Indus Valley Clay Fertility Idol
3RD-2ND MILLENNIUM B.C.
6 1/2 in. (596 grams, 16.5 cm high).
Modelled as a stylised female figure with a bell-shaped body, oval head with arched brow, narrow eyes, circular recessed mouth and applied ears, one remaining arm held to one of two conical breasts, series of prick marks over the body and neck; hollow-form. [No Reserve]
