Indo-Persian Copper Ewer
20TH CENTURY A.D.
11 7/8 in. (1.32 kg, 30.1 cm high).
Spherical body with conical upper section, arched handle with casket-shaped filler hole to the apex; curved spout with flange rim; flared foot; low-relief vegetation detail overall; casket with hinged lid to access hollow arch; reserved panels with calligraphic text to equator.
