Indian Goddess Statuette
15TH-17TH CENTURY A.D.
3 in. (182 grams, 77 mm high).
A bronze statuette modelled in the round on on a tiered rectangular base, portraying a semi-naked goddess seated on a lotus flower, wearing a conical crown and a garment around her waist, ornamental collar around her neck, hands held in a mudra, geometric motifs to each tier of the base; decorated discoid lug to rear of the head; collector's label to base reading 'my opinion of date is 14th century'.
