Hiberno-Norse Coins - Ireland - Sithric Anlafsson - 'PAXS' Penny 1065-1095 AD

Phase V, imitative series, copying William I PAXS type reverse. Obv: crude profile bust left with blundered legend. Rev: voided long cross with X-in-annulet in angles (from the letters P A X S seen on the prototype) and blundered legend. About as struck; toned with flan slightly crinkled. Extremely rare.(0.75 grams.).
