Hadrian AE 'Paduan' Sestertius. Circa AD 1550.
Possibly after Giovanni Cavino. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust to right / FELICITATI AVG in two lines across ship's sail, COS III P P S C in two lines beneath galley sailing to right. Cf. Klawans pp. 76-77, 1 (silver). Very Fine.(29.55gr, 34mm, 7h.).
