Phoenician galley to left / Persian king or hero, holding dagger, standing to right, fighting lion standing to left on its hind legs; Phoenician letter between; all within incuse square. Cf. HGC 10, 240 (Sakton II). 0.74gr, 9mm, 9h.

Kings of Paeonia, Patraos AR Tetradrachm. Circa 335-315 BC. Astibos or Damastion mint.

Laureate head of Apollo to right / Π-OΑ-P-ΤΑΥ (sic), Paeonian horseman, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping to right and spearing fallen enemy, who defends himself with a shield on his left arm. Extremely Fine. Attractive old cabinet tone with hints of golden iridescence around the devices. Well centred.
