Greek Hellenistic Equestrian Relief Plaque

(Terracotta, 750 grams, 24 cm.).

Circa 3rd century BC. A cast ceramic relief plaque fragment depicting a pair of horsemen advancing left; above, a shallow pediment; to the upper right, an amphora; supplied with custom-made display stand.

Provenance

Ex Sir Daniel Donohue and Kady Bernadine collection, California; acquired prior to 1968.
