GREEK GOLD FUNERARY WREATH
(Gold, 4.5 kg, 30 x 30 x 30 cm including case.).

Circa 5th-3rd century BC. A funerary wreath in gold foil comprising twelve delicate oak-leaf sprigs on a c-shaped fillet with central cluster; professionally restored and mounted to museum standard in purpose made display case.

PROVENANCE:
From the private collection of a Surrey Gentleman; acquired from Munich in 2006.
