Greek Festooned Glass Vessel Group
2ND-1ST CENTURY B.C. AND LATER
5 3/8 - 5 1/2 in. (213 grams total, 13.6-14 cm high).
A pair of glass vessels: an opaque blue alabastron with white spiralling trails to base and neck, marvering between; a green-amber coloured amphoriskos decorated with white trails, knop foot and remains of one applied handle; both fragmentary. [2]

Acquired early 1990s.
Ex private American collection; thence by descent.
Private collection since 1998.
