GROTTA PELLOS PHASE, EARLY CYCLADIC I, 2800 BC

8 1/2" (6.7 kg, 22cm).

A carved stone vessel with flared stem, large bulbous body, deep shoulder, tapering neck; four radiating lugs to the shoulder, pierced.

Provenance

From an important Mayfair collection; previously in the Ian Woodner family collection, New York, USA.
