GREEK CERAMIC FIGURAL BELL KRATER
(Ceramic, 1.5 kg, 25 cm.).

Circa 4th century BC. A ceramic bell krater with pedestal base and broad rim decorated in red-figure with restrained use of white slip detailing; with a female bust to one face and seated figure to the other beneath a chevron border; Side A showing a female bust with drop earring, necklace and stephane; Side B showing a female figure seated facing right with stephane, drop earring and necklace, holding a casket in her extended left hand and diadem in her right, with objects in the field.
