Greek Black-Glazed Terracotta Kantharos
5TH CENTURY B.C.
5 5/8 in. (185 grams, 14.3 cm wide).
Comprising a conical foot, splayed body of the vase, strongly carinated walls and trumpet- shaped mouth; small strap handles; foot, lip, handles and retracting part slightly worn.

Hans Knorr, acquired in Athens in the 1940s.
Accompanied by a copy of an Art Loss Register certificate no.S00075503.
