3/4 - 1 5/8 in. (20 grams total, 20-41 mm).

Comprising irregular, finely painted fragments, one with letters and one with prominent dotted hand; possibly attributable to the Brygos Painter. [5]

From the stock of a former UK antiquarian, acquired at trade fairs and from private collection formed in the 1980s-1990s.

    Acquired on the UK and EU art market before 2000. From the private collection of a Surrey, UK, gentleman.

    This category of rings shows a narrow band-like hoop and a slightly convex exterior surface, undecorated, retaining its width all around. The large bezel is in the form of a pointed oval.

    Modelled in the round figure standing with arms raised, head tilted upward with shoulder-length hair and horned cap, collar to the throat with large disc closure, pectoral pendant on a stylised braided thong; mounted on a custom-made stand; possibly Cypriot workmanship. 277 grams total, 17 cm high including stand
