Grand Tour Bronze Statue of Venus

CIRCA 1800 A.D.

10 3/4 in. (1.3 kg, 27.5 cm high).

Standing nude with the right hand raised to dress the hair and left hand extended to hold a mirror (absent); the head tilted to the left and downward, right leg flexed in contrapposto pose; socle base with flared lower edge, hollow to the underside.
