Gold Viking Style Bar Bracelet

Comprising: a pair of rectangular buckles with frames inlaid with cut and polished stones; a pair of domed elliptical buckles retaining their bars, inlaid with two rows of cut and polished stones and an engraved central border; a large domed rectangular buckle set with cut and polished stones; an oblong buckle also inlaid with cut and polished stone; articulate prongs and spindles; the stones are likely paste. 97 grams total, 27-54 mm

Shoe buckles such as these were usually transferred from one pair of shoes to another.

Very heavy high-carat merchants ring with oval bezel bearing heraldic helmet and shield design with a chevron below two mullets and an eagle's head at the base; the helmet with luxurious looped mantle and crest of a human bust; to the underside, an incuse panel with reserved swan on a textured field probably a device alluding to the family name. 17.61 grams, 23.28 mm overall, 17.93 mm internal diameter (approximate size British P 1/2, USA 7 3/4, Europe 16.86, Japan 16)

The arms appear to be a variant of those used by Adam de Cretinge in the Dering Roll of the late 13th century.

The scalloped frame with articulate bail, set with a glass plaque over coloured foil, displaying three robed figures arranged beside a couchant lion, floral tendrils in the field; possible maker's stamps to the bail reverse. 81 grams, 76 mm
