1 1/8 in. (5.5 grams, 30 mm).

The oval gold pendant with alternating granules and bulbs to the side edge, filigree border above and suspension loop with bail to apex; intaglio gemstone depicting the goddess Minerva. [No Reserve]

    In medieval Southampton the various forms of pottery included cooking pots with the beaded rim and opposing pair of handles, as it was probably also the specimen presented in this ensemble. Beauvais earthenware is a smooth, fine white fabric with some fine quartz grains. Vessels have a rich lustrous lead glaze and floral designs.
