1" (1.28 grams, 23mm overall, 17.66mm internal diameter (approximate size British O, USA 7 1/4, Europe 15.48, Japan 15)).
A D-section hoop with three raised quatrefoil motifs to the outer face, stepped shoulders and pie-dish bezel with inset cabochon sapphire; to the chamfered outer faces of the hoop, the legend in seriffed capitals '+AM*ORVI*NCIT*IOMI' (amor vincit omnia: 'love conquers all') and '+IE*SVII*CIEN*LIVD' (ie sui ici en lieu: 'I am am here in place (of a lover)'.
