1" (4.84 grams, 23mm overall, 18.23mm internal diameter (approximate size British P 1/2, USA 8, Europe 17.15, Japan 16)).
A hollow-formed gold hoop formed from alternating square and discoid cells; each discoid cell domed with an octofoil on a hatched field; each square cell a starburst with blackletter script letter, the five letters are 'c a r o l' carol, for Carolus the familiar Latinisation of the English name Charles.

Found Skerne & Wansford, East Riding of Yorkshire, UK. Accompanied by a positive X-Ray Fluorescence metal analysis certificate.
