Glass Dragon Lamp
20TH CENTURY A.D.
5 1/4 in. (400 grams, 13.3 cm).
The squat bowl with ornate spout, bestial face to the underside, sinuous dragons in relief to both flanks, loop handle formed with dragon head apex, dragonesque forms and geometric clouds in lower relief over the body. [No Reserve]

Not just the furnishings, but the palaces themselves were multi-coloured, with brick walls painted red, and exposed timbers in yellow, red, green and white. -
