MAXIMIL · COM · PAL · RH · VT · BAV · DVX · S · R · I · ARCHIDAP · ET · ELECT, oval crowned shield of four-fold arms of Bavaria and Pfalz, with central shield of imperial orb, supported by two facing leonine, Order of Golden Fleece around / ✿ CLYPEVS OMNIBVS IN TESPERANTIBVS, crowned and nimbate full-length figure of the Madonna seated facing on clouds, head lowered to right, holding nimbate Holy Infant, raising hand and holding globus cruciger; all within mandorla of rays.
