Feldgrau uniform jacket with four pockets, bottle-green collar of a Waffen SS officer of the 3rd SS Tank Division Totenkopf; left collar patch with flash to lower edge and three squares (Obersturmführer); right collar patch with Totenkopf (death's head) motif; shoulder-boards with Oberleutnant single gold star; SS style eagle patch to left arm; 1939 iron cross medal to left breast pocket; infantry assault badge below, possibly later. Anglo-Zulu War Artefacts from the Battle of Khambula

A collection of twelve Boxer .450 brass cartridge bullet cases, used in Martini-Henry rifles during the battle between British forces and the main Zulu army. 110 grams total, 17-60 mm
Found by local Zulu people living at Khambula, South Africa, 1990s-early 2000s. Ian Wilkinson collection, Nottinghamshire, UK, formed since 1985.
The battle resulted in a heavy defeat for the Zulus, who had been full of confidence from their earlier victories against the British at Isandlwana and Hlobane.
