Georgian Silver Ring with Roman Intaglio
18TH CENTURY A.D. AND EARLIER
1 1/4 in. (14.55 grams, 30.65 mm overall, 18.25 mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q, USA 8, Europe 17.49, Japan 16)).
Comprising a decorative band formed as a wreath with a lentoid-shaped recess to each shoulder, raised oval bezel with punched decoration, set with a 2nd century A.D. dark blue intaglio with a standing goddess Fortuna holding a cornucopia.

Ex private collection, 1970s.
