Gandharan Dish with Female Anguiped

20TH CENTURY A.D. OR EARLIER

3 1/8 in. (4 3/4 in.) (112 grams total, 80 mm (205 grams total, 12 cm high including stand)).

Carved steatite with mural border, central anguiped with collar, armrings, bracelets and hair decorations; rimm stepped to the reverse; mounted on a custom-made stand.
